Mary Caraway owner of Jasper Old Fashioned Barber Shop has proudly been serving the Jasper Community, Bent Tree, Big Canoe and the surrounding communities of North Georgia for over 20 years. She graduated from Roffler Barber College in Carthage, Mississippi as a Master Barber. Mary is a generous, caring and warm hearted individual who caters to each and every customer like they were part of her own family. Her attention to detail and dedication to her craft have made her a name in Jasper. Mary gives free haircuts for the “kids going back to school” sponsorship and gives her time to hospitals, hospices, funeral homes and others who find it hard to make ends meet. She also makes house calls for home bounds or those who find it hard to travel. She is also known for her never ending and tireless community involvement with the Disabled American Veterans, Chamber of Commerce, sponsor of local car shows, Georgia Mountains Hospice, Rotary Club, giving to scholarship funds, local churches, cub scouts and attending benefits for Big Canoe, Bent Tree and Jasper.
Misty Sullivan is a graduate of Roffler Barber College in Marietta, Georgia as a Master Barber. Misty has over 15 years experience in the barber business and is currently shop manager at Jasper Old Fashioned Barber Shop. She gives her time freely to local organizations, hospices, funeral Parlors, hospitals and customers who are home bound. She specializes in the old fashioned traditional ways of barbering and is highly skilled at giving military cuts and flat tops. Misty, like her mother is also fond of vintage collectables and has garnered a large collection of straight razors and mugs that she showcases at the barbershop.
